At first we were unsure of the neighborhood, but once we entered the apartment, we knew it was a wonderful place to stay. Comfortable and well-furnished. Would stay there again - especially at such an affordable price.

We stayed at Lucerne's for one week, traveling everyday to Manhattan, which was easy with the subway. We were with two kids, the appartment has enough space for a family of four, and the beds are super!

I spent 3 months in this tasteful arranged apartment in winter and spring 2007. It kept me warm during the "deep freeze" and lots of snow storms, it kept me dry during the awful Nor' Easter. It's a great location for people who want to see Brooklyn and Manhattan. The subway connection to Manhattan is very good: 5 min walk to C, 10 min to A, and 12 to 15 min walk to G trains. Furthermore, you can walk 5 min. to a huge supermarket on Fulton Street. Anything else? Oh yes: laundry service right across the street.

The place is great - spacious, exquisitely furnished, cosy. Very comfortable bed, everything recently refurbished, new, except for the antique furniture of course; luxury bath. A wonderful landlady who goes out of her way to make her guests feel at home.
Internet access, easy access to subway, friendly neighborhood - tried to come back, but was unfortunately booked out - I am not astonished.

Thank you to Lucerne for her nice flat. I went there during 2 weeks in July with my 10 years old daughter. The neighbour is nice and secure, you can go to Manhattan by subway, or simply discover Brooklyn. I hope I will go again.
